I have tears of great joy running down my cheeks. So many friends from the St Paul MML past, I can't believe it! Hello to you all. Your names bring back so many memories.
That round was the toughest one yet, and I know it isn't going to get any easier. But, I'm three down, and still alive! Praise God for protecting me in the battle.
While not feeling well yesterday, my son John Patrick was at a loss on how to help me feel better. I could hear him typing furiously at the computer and occasionally laughing (you know, those belly laughs). He later handed me three printed pages of "Ole and Lena" jokes. I used to fire those at him until he was hooked.
Thank you for your prayers and patience in hearing from me. It was a difficult round, but nothing is impossible with God!

Hello from Nebraska, 8 inches deep..... do you miss snow this time of year? I miss warm! It is beautiful, though. Stephen was home for an early Christmas gift-- snow tires! All NE drivers can now breathe easier on the roads! Glad to hear you are able to eat better now. Just in time for the holiday goodies..... a Christmas card is on its way. (Usually it ends up being a New Year's or Valentine's or St. Pat's or Easter card!) Just how do you manage to get yours out before everyone else?!!! Everyone here is counting down to the beginning of vacation, as I am sure your family is too. Still, I do have to get the tree decorated : ( sigh. Enjoy this time. Love you and miss you!

| All 83 pounds of Peggy made it through to Chemo #6 so we know you can do it. Not easy but you can do it. The truth is they don't get easier. But like Peggy you have a strong faith in our God and there is no doubt he is with you. Partly through it Peggy joined a bible study group at Saint Francis Xavier and is really enjoying it. It helped her get through the later chemos. She would be glad to send you a copy of the materials they are using. The instructor lives near you guys and comes in to lead the meetings. She is Jeff Hatch Millers wife Peggy and Gerry Murphy

| I always read your messages and am inspired by your constant ability to find the silver lining somewhere in this cloud that has been brought to you. As I look at this beautiful cloudless Arizona day, I'm thinking of you and knowing that you are pushing this cloud away with all of your might. JP is right, laughter is the best medicine. Keep laughing and know that we are thinking of you during this blessed season. Merry Christmas.

| Congratulations! You are 1/2 the way thru those miserable chemo treatments. I'm not sure I would have your great strength and courage, but then again we can get thru anything with God's help guidance and blessings. You come to mind so many times everyday and then I try to say a quick prayer just in case you are in need of a blessing at that moment. You are an inspiration to all of us. We are not living your very tough journey but we are walking along side of you in prayer so that you will have everything you need...one day at a time. May the blessings of this Advent Season continue to bless and inspire you. Joan LH - Mpls |
