"the healing has begun!" We're making final preparations to head to the hospital at 6 am tomorrow, October 15th. Father Iffe and Sue Stoller were just here administering the Annointing of the Sick. As a special treat he sang for Maureen. We are ready for the journey.
Thanks to all of you for your kind words, cards and especially your prayers. We believe in the power of prayer. We've heard from people we don't even know who are praying for Maureen. Thank you.
Connor and I will be at the hospital tomorrow during surgery, which begins at 8 am. We'll provide updates as we're able. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Mike.

A grey day in Chamberlain -Terry Casey
Dear loving Casey family:Sharon and I have just finished putting up our Halloween decorations. We did it during a light rain which started last nite during the OGorman band show here in Chamberlain. They were wonderful with their final rendition of Jesus Christ Superstar which gave they lst place in their group and "Best of Show". So inspite of a good downpour they were superior and Clair and here flute certainly helped! Jeanne,Claire,Sharon and I went to Mass this morning and prayed for our dear Maureen and Sharon & I will be attending the mass for you dear. I went to mass last nite as I sing in that choir and Fr Bill mentioned Maureen twice during th4e service and homily and so many people approached me when I cam down from the loft including Roger Michels,Mike, the whole parish is pulling for you sweetheart, including Doc Holland! Anyway you were on our mind constanttly in the greyness of our day up here and I can know that our Lord and Savior will bring your out of this dreary day and into the sunshine tomorrow. I love you so much my wonderful daughter and together with your Dad and so many others are praying for you. So sincerely, Terry.

We have been visiting a Carepage since last June for a friend's son from St Louis by the name of Sean Glanville. He is 12 and has been in a comma since a auto accident in May. So we are very familiar with this devise and think it is wonderful way for all of us to keep up with you, Maureen, and your family. My only complaint is there is no spell check!
You and Maureen and your boys were all in our prayers this AM at St Francis Xavier. You all need our prayers. As you know we have been living with cancer since June and so know how each member of the family has a need under this strain.
We have great confidence that the good Lord will look out for all of you. We also know from personnel experience that the medical community really has some new and great means at their disposal. With the Lord and the Doctor on your side it will be well.
